Trump Announces 2024 Bid for Presidency | The Weekly Dumpster Fire

As more announcements have been made surrounding president-elect Joe Biden’s administration, Dr. Anthony Fauci, presently the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been chosen as Biden’s chief medical advisor.

This position was created during Trump’s first term and has been empty since the end of 2019.

Kamala’s replacement chosen as Secretary of HHS

Xavier Becerra, Attorney General of California after Kamala Harris, has been tapped by Biden’s team to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Similar to other future Cabinet members, Becerra is an extremely partisan choice, highlighting Biden’s disdain for the pro-life crowd.

Another guy with a cheap spray tan contracts COVID-19

Rudy Giuliani, future former President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus.

While the current President’s inner circle continues to make headlines for getting each other sick, Biden says that Trump has no actual plan for distributing the vaccine that many believe will be complete within a matter of days.

Though many of our elected officials preach to the public about the importance of social distancing, wearing a mask, and avoiding unnecessary outings, some of them do so while on vacation in Mexico, like Texas Mayor Steve Adler.

The next stimulus includes no stimulus

Several politicians are refusing to vote for the most recently proposed stimulus bill, pointing out the fact that it provides no direct payments to the public or adequate funding for the millions of people currently reliant on unemployment to put food on the table for their families.

With this total lack of cooperation in Washington, will we ever see true progress? Some believe that the alleged friendship between Joe Biden and Mitch McConnell could be the key to getting things done, but can anyone actually imagine either of them coming up with something positive?

Decriminalization is not legalization

The MORE Act, which would federally decriminalize marijuana and even clean up the records of thousands of Americans, has passed the House. Unfortunately, the odds of its success in the Senate are slim to none.

Either way, there is a big difference between the terms decriminalization and legalization.

When something is decriminalized, it is still illegal. Sure, they probably won’t pursue convictions the way they do now, but that won’t stop them from creating other avenues to weaponize it and use it against the working class.

We may not have seen the last of Trump

Trump plans to contest Biden’s inauguration by hosting a massive rally at the same time. Not only that, but he claims that he will be running again in 2024. The nightmare continues.
